Our club exists to provide opportunities for young people to play and enjoy basketball and be involved in a team sport.
The development of players as people and players is seen as being more important than winning.
We define success as seeing young people enjoying their basketball, improving their skills and treating their team mates, opponents, coaches, and the referees with respect.
Interestingly this focus on development and improvement has led to on average of 70% of our teams competing in the finals each season.
The club's code of conduct clearly explains the level of behaviour and sportsmanship expected of players, coaches, parents and spectators.
The Code of Conduct exists to ensure everyone is able to enjoy the game. The golden rule being to 'treat everyone the way you would like to be treated'.
All players and parents are expected to have read and understood the club's Code of Conduct and adhere to it at all times.
